Read a candidate report

The four tabs, the overall score, the skill bars, the recording and searchable transcript, the malpractice status, and how to share it.

Before you start

  • A candidate who has finished at least one round.
  • The requirements and levels you set on the job. The report is scored on those.
Steps

6 steps, in order.

1

Start with the verdict and the score

The top of the report carries the overall score, the verdict and the round number and name. That is the summary. Everything below it is the evidence behind it. Reports are always included and never cost credits.

Score, verdict and the skill breakdown, all on the Overview tab.

2

Move through the four tabs

Overview is the score, the verdict and the skill breakdown. Analysis is the detail behind each skill. Submissions holds what the candidate produced, including code. Resume is the resume on file. Read them in that order the first time.

3

Read the skill bars against the levels you set

The skill breakdown is scored from the transcript and the code, and it uses the requirements you picked on the job. A low bar on something you marked Critical matters far more than a low bar on a requirement you left lower. Read the bars next to the levels you set.

4

Check the evidence in the transcript

The report includes the full recording with playback and a speaker-separated, searchable transcript with All, Candidate and Interviewer filters. If a score surprises you, search the transcript for the skill and read the actual exchange.

  • Filter to Candidate and skim. It is the fastest way to judge communication for yourself.
5

Read the malpractice status, then decide

Malpractice status sits on the report. On a clean round it reads as none, with no tab switches flagged. A flag is context for you to weigh, never a verdict. There is no automated pass or fail on this platform.

  • Do not action a flag without reading the transcript and the submission it relates to.
6

Share it or export it

Share the report with a hiring manager or a client, or download it as a PDF for anything that has to live outside the platform. Resume masking removes identifying details from reports before they leave the pipeline.

What you get

At the end of this guide.

One report per round, with a score, a verdict and a skill breakdown.

The full recording plus a searchable, speaker-separated transcript.

The candidate's submissions, including code, next to the score.

A malpractice status and a share or PDF export for people outside the workspace.

Common mistakes

What goes wrong, and the fix.

Reading the overall score and stopping.

Open the skill breakdown. Two candidates on 72 can be strong and weak in opposite places.

Comparing candidates scored on different requirement lists.

Compare within a job. The score is mapped to the requirements and JD of that job.

Disputing a score without opening the Analysis tab.

Every score traces to the transcript, the code, the requirements you set and the job description. The evidence is one tab away.

Forwarding a report with personal details intact.

Resume masking strips identifying details before reports leave the pipeline. Use it when sharing outside.
