No shortlist of your own.
Roles get picked by whichever company visits campus first, not by how you like to work.
Psychometric Test is a 40-question psychometric assessment that takes about seven minutes. It gives you a work-style profile in plain language: your personality at work, the roles you would naturally thrive in, and whether you fit a startup or an enterprise, product or service.
Career direction, not a hiring filter. There is no score to beat and nothing to revise for.

The problem
By final year the hard question is not how to write a cover letter. It is what to apply for. Without an answer students apply to every open role, prepare for none of them, and take each rejection personally.
A student who does not know what they are built for cannot prepare for anything in particular, and generic preparation is what rejection is made of.
Roles get picked by whichever company visits campus first, not by how you like to work.
Practice only pays off when it points somewhere. With no direction, students rehearse for an average interview that no company runs.
A ten-person product team and a large services floor are different jobs with the same title. Most students never think about which one suits them until they are already inside one.
When you never chose the role deliberately, a no feels like a judgement on you rather than a mismatch with the job.
Start with the seven-minute version of the answer
Psychometric Test is not a test you can revise for. There is no syllabus, no right answer and no score to beat. The questions ask about preference and instinct, and the profile comes from the pattern across all 40 answers.
Whether you work by building and iterating, by analyzing until the picture is complete, or by talking a problem through with other people. Most students have never put words to this, which is why it never shows up in their applications.
The kind of work that gives you energy, and the kind that drains it. Over a first job that lasts two years, that difference matters more than the job title.
Startup or enterprise, product or service. Same job title, different day. You get a position on both before you commit a placement season to one of them.
“No right answers - just go with your gut.”
That line sits next to the start button inside the product, and it is the whole instruction. A profile you gamed would only mislead the person it was built for.
The output is not a chart of trait percentiles. It is a short profile with a label, a best-fit line and language you could read out loud to a mentor or a placement officer.
Every attempt is saved
Past profiles sit under Your results with a label, a best-fit line and the month you took them, so you can see how your answers have moved. Labels read like these examples:
A quick, playful profile of how you work, what energizes you, and the kind of company and role you're built for.
What you are looking at: the Psychometric Test screen inside the student practice app. The assessment card carries the ~7 min and 40 quick questions chips, lists the three things the profile returns, and puts the gut-instinct instruction under the start button. Below it, Your results holds past attempts, each one a label, a best-fit line and a date.
Length is a design decision. A ninety-minute inventory gets abandoned halfway, and a half-finished profile is worth nothing to the student or to the placement cell waiting on it. Forty questions, gut answers, one profile at the end. Take it again next semester when your answers have moved.
It is the one that sets direction. The other six build evidence that you can do the thing you pointed at. All seven sit in the same student account.
A placement cell has the same problem, a thousand times over. You cannot sit down with every student in September, and once the drives start it is too late to redirect anyone. Psychometric Test gives you a profile for every student in the batch, early enough to act on.
Universities pay one per-student rate for the whole platform for an academic year, and Psychometric Test is included in it. The rate is an indicative 1,600 rupees a student and falls as the cohort gets bigger.
We onboard the batch for you. Your placement cell sends the admin list, our team loads it, and students sign in with their institutional Google or Microsoft account. At about seven minutes each, the assessment fits inside one session.
Every student comes out with a profile label and a best-fit line. The conversation about which drives to sit for starts from a page, not a hunch, and the officer does not need to have met the student before.
Once a student knows what role they are aiming at, mock interviews, coding tests and resume work stop being generic. That is when the readiness score starts to move.
Guidance, not gatekeeping. A Psychometric Test profile never decides who is allowed to sit for a drive. It makes counselling specific, and a student is free to ignore it and apply anywhere they like.
They answer different questions. Psychometric Test is self-reported: how you like to work. The readiness score is evidence: how you performed. Confusing the two is how psychometrics gets misused.
Built from evidence. Interviews, resume analysis and coding tests all roll into one number, scored against the skills set on the job. Each score traces back to a transcript, the code you wrote or the resume that was scanned. It moves when you practice.
Built from self-report. Forty questions about how you prefer to work, turned into a profile and a best-fit line. It points you at a kind of role and a kind of company. It is not evidence that you can do the job, and it never pretends to be.
Read together they are useful. Psychometric Test narrows the target and the readiness score tells you how close you are to hitting it. See how skills and weightage are set, which is what every round is scored against.
Psychometric testing has a bad history of being used to keep people out of work, and the law in several places treats it that way. So here is what this tool is for. Psychometric Test helps a person choose what to aim at. That is all it does.
There is no threshold, no cutoff and no failing profile. Every result is a description of a working style, not a grade on one. Nobody scores badly on Psychometric Test because there is nothing to score.
Psychometric Test does not rank candidates against each other and is not used to screen anyone out of a pipeline. A profile never removes a person from consideration.
It reflects how you say you prefer to work. It does not forecast how well you will do a job. Evidence of capability comes from interviews, coding tests and resume screening, scored against the skills set on the job and traceable back to a transcript or the code you wrote.
People change and so do the answers. Each attempt is stored separately with its own date, so a profile is a snapshot of a moment rather than a permanent classification.
It is context a recruiter reads next to the real evidence: the transcript, the submitted code and the scored report. It is never a score, never a threshold and never a reason a candidate is moved out of a pipeline. A Psychometric Test profile goes to a human reviewer rather than being acted on automatically, and it is never a cutoff.
There are two ways people get to Psychometric Test, and neither of them is a subscription a student has to remember to cancel.
Practice runs on Prep Credits: one-time rupee packs with no subscription, spendable across any of the practice tools in your account. Every purchase comes with a downloadable GST invoice.
The credit cost of each action is shown on the pricing page and again in the product before you start, so nothing is spent by surprise.
Campuses pay one per-student rate for the whole platform for an academic year, finalised on a call. Psychometric Test is included at every slab, and larger cohorts get a lower per-student rate.
Indicative per-student prices for the whole platform, per academic year. Onboarding, including bulk student registration, is handled end to end by our team.
What students and placement cells ask before they run it.
Still have a question? Book a demo and we will walk you through it.
Students take Psychometric Test inside the practice account, next to the other six tools. Placement cells get it in the per-student campus rate and run it across a batch before the drive calendar fills up.
No right answers, no pass or fail, and no profile is ever used to filter a candidate out.
