What the Ceipal connector does.
These are the workflows the connection covers once an admin has authorized it. Everything beyond them stays where it already lives.
Import your open Ceipal jobs. Each one lands under the Expert Hire client with the same name.
When an applicant is pipelined, submitted or changes status, Expert Hire moves them into the round you mapped to that status.
When the round is scored, Ceipal gets a note with the score, a recommendation, a short summary and a link to the full report.
Whatever the connector moves, the evaluation does not change. Every stage is one of five modes: resume screening, AI interview, human-led interview, AI prompt assessment or coding test. All of them score onto one rubric, and every score traces back to the transcript, the live code, the skills you weighted and the JD you set up.

The board is the fallback, not the consolation prize.
Nothing on this page has to ship before you can hire. The pipeline board above is included on every plan, it is where candidates land whether they arrive by upload, referral or an assistant over MCP, and it is where reportcards attach. A connector changes where the record lives, not whether you can run a round.

This is how a Ceipal rollout runs. Pilot on one pipeline before you widen it, because the thresholds that decide who gets shortlisted are worth calibrating with the recruiters who will live with them.
- 1In Ceipal, go to Setup → API Settings and copy the API key. You also need the email and API password of a Ceipal user with administrator access.
- 2In Expert Hire, open Integrations, choose Ceipal and enter those details.
- 3In Ceipal, add the Expert Hire webhook for the pipeline, submission and job events listed on the setup screen.
- 4Pick the note type results are saved as, then import your jobs and map Ceipal statuses to rounds.
