What is a Hire Credit?

One shared unit that every action spends. A resume review is 1 credit, a live AI voice interview is 5, and so on. You buy one monthly pool and every product draws from it, so you never manage separate counters.

How many interviews do I actually get?

It depends on your mix, which is the point of one pool. As a rough guide, 300 credits is about 60 live interviews or 300 resume reviews or any blend in between. Every card shows a plain-English translation, and the app shows your balance and the cost of each action before you run it.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Add a credit top-up pack (one pack covers every product) or move up a volume bucket or tier. Top-up credits are valid for 3 months, and unused plan credits roll over one month.

Do you charge per team member?

No. Every plan includes unlimited team members. You pay for usage through credits, not for seats.

Does proctoring cost extra credits?

No. The desktop proctoring app unlocks at Growth and Scale, and running an assessment under proctoring costs the same credits as running it in a browser. AI candidate matching is free the same way.

Can I get the MCP server or white-label on a lower plan?

The MCP server and white-label unlock at Growth and Scale. Client workspaces, on the other hand, are included on every plan. Buying more credits raises your volume, not your feature set, so a feature unlock always means a tier change.

Do I need a card to start the free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The 30-day trial gives you 75 Hire Credits with every product unlocked, and a card is required to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial and you can cancel any time before it ends.

I see prices in INR, AED, and EUR. Am I charged in my currency?

Accepted Answer

No. Those figures are approximate, for reference only. Business plans are billed in USD using a periodically refreshed rate, which may differ from your card's rate at checkout. Job-seeker packs are billed in INR, and the billing currency for campus plans is confirmed on a call.

What does annual billing save me?

Annual billing is 20 percent less than monthly on every paid tier. Explorer is $79 a month billed annually, Starter is $199, and Growth is $399.

Is there a free plan for a campus?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Campus Starter is free for your first year and gives every student 50 Prep Credits for the academic year, with up to 50 concurrent assessments, and it includes the placement ERP and the faculty dashboard. Campus Enterprise adds mentors, points and leaderboards, company-specific question sets, VC Pitch and public API access, at 300 or 600 credits per student or a custom number.

How is a university priced?

One rate per student for the whole platform, for one academic year, set by how big your cohort is. It starts at 1,600 rupees a student for up to 1,000 students and falls to 999 for pools above 5,000. Nothing is licensed module by module: every slab includes the placement ERP, mock and AI interviews, coding tests, resume screening, prompt-engineering practice, Psychometric Test and the question banks. The slabs build a quote and the final number is confirmed on a call.

Do campus credits expire?

Campus credits run for one academic year and are spent before anything a student bought themselves, so paid credits are never the ones that lapse. Credits a student buys with their own money do not expire.

What does each student get?

A single Prep Credits balance they spend on whatever you have licensed: mock and AI interviews, coding tests with reports, resume and ATS-readiness checks, prompt-engineering practice, Psychometric Test, and company and role-wise question banks.

How does onboarding work?

Onboarding is assisted. You send a CSV of admin institutional email addresses to contact@experthire.io, our team loads it, and students sign in with their institutional Google or Microsoft account. Your placement cell then gets a dashboard to track who is ready and run the whole drive.

Can students top up on their own?

Only if you enable it. Settings has an Enable student payments toggle, and with it on the Payments tab appears to a student once their balance no longer covers a resume review, so they can top up on their own.

Is it only for tech roles?

No. It covers tech, finance, operations, and more. Questions adapt to the specific industry and role.

How is student data handled?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, the university keeps control of it, and students can request deletion at any time.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Job-seeker packs are one-time purchases. Buy a pack when you need it, use it whenever, no recurring charge.

Can I practice for a company that is not listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create a custom job or interview by entering a few details and practice for that specific company and role, even if it is not in our catalog.

What are Prep Credits?

One pool you spend across any practice tool: a resume review or Psychometric Test is 1 credit, a coding or prompt-engineering assessment is 3, and a mock interview, VC Pitch or full question-bank unlock is 5. Bigger packs give a better per-credit rate, and you decide how to use them.
